MINISTRY IN OUR COMMUNITY

Getting involved in people's lives shows how much we care. We believe this is an essential activity for a community of people following God.

Locally we support and are involved in food banks, homeless shelters, crisis pregnancy centers, prison ministries, and other needs as they arise. We go on missions trips to various places in the US and abroad. We are always striving to expand the opportunities to impact people's lives.

We actively support through prayer & financial gifts our national (NAMB) and international (IMB) sending agencies.

MICAH'S BACKPACK MINISTRY

There are children in Smithsburg going home from school hungry and we can help! Jesus said to do to others what we would want them to do for us - So WE MUST help hungry children!

Our church is joining Micah’s Backpack program to help feed 20 hungry students attending Smithsburg Elementary school, to make sure that they are fed over the weekends. The backpacks include two dinners, two lunches, and two breakfasts. Volunteers pack the backpacks and the partner schools distribute the backpacks to the students.
